Abstract
The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the role of organizational commitment as moderation in the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational climate on employee performance. The population in this study were ASN nurses at the Inpatient Installation of Dradjat Prawiranegara Hospital, Serang Regency, totaling 105 people using employee data for 2024. Sampling using the census technique or saturated sample refers to taking data from the entire population that is the subject of research. The data in this study were taken using a questionnaire as an instrument and then analyzed using a quantitative method called Partial Least Square (PLS) and processed with the SmartPLS version 4 software program. The results showed that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment is not proven to moderate the relationship between emotional intelligence and employee performance as well as organizational commitment does not moderate the relationship between organizational climate and employee performance. This research is expected to help develop human resource management in providing health services and improve employee performance.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji dan menganalisis peran komitmen organisasi sebagai moderasi pada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perawat ASN di Instalasi Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit dr. Dradjat Prawiranegara Kabupaten Serang yang berjumlah 105 orang dengan menggunakan data pegawai tahun 2024. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sensus atau sampel jenuh merujuk pada pengambilan data dari seluruh populasi yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument dan kemudian dianalisis dengan metode kuantitatif yang disebut Partial Least Square (PLS) dan diolah dengan software program SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Komitmen organisasi tidak terbukti memoderasi hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja pegawai begitu juga komitmen organisasi tidak memoderasi hubungan antara iklim organisasi dan kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu mengembangkan manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan dan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. | |||||||||
