Abstract

One of the problems found during the science learning process is that students have problems in learning independence. The application of an appropriate learning model is one effort to deliver material so that students can absorb the material optimally, such as using the PjBL-STEM model. This study aims to determine the effect of the PjBL-STEM learning model on students' learning independence in the circulatory system material. The research method used is the Quasi Experiment method with a Pretest-Posttest control group design using two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The instruments used are learning independence questionnaires and learning implementation observation sheets. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it shows that there is an influence of the PjBL-STEM learning model on students' learning independence in the circulatory system material. The results of the study using the SPSS version 26 program showed that the hypothesis test obtained a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.022 <0.05, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PjBL-STEM learning model on students' learning independence in the circulatory system material.

Additional Information: Salah satu permasalahan yang ditemukan pada saat proes pembelajaran IPA adalah siswa memiliki masalah dalam kemandirian belajar. Penerapan model pembelajaran yang sesuai merupakan salah satu usaha untuk menyampaikan materi sehingga siswa dapat memahami materi secara maksimal yaitu seperti menggunakan model PjBL-STEM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL-STEM terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada materi sistem peredaran darah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Quasi Experiment dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest control group design dengan menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket kemandirian belajar dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL-STEM terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada materi sistem peredaran darah. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 26 menunjukkan uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,022 < 0,05, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL-STEM terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada materi sistem peredaran darah.
