Abstract
This study aims to analyze the application of the storytelling method in improving students' understanding of the Pancasila Education subject, especially on the material "Regulations in My School" in class VIII of SMPN 24, Serang City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the application of storytelling is able to create a more interesting, interactive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere for students. Through stories that are relevant to everyday life, students find it easier to understand and internalize the Pancasila values contained in school regulations. In addition, this method also increases students' active participation, imagination, and critical thinking skills. Teachers play an important role in selecting appropriate stories, guiding discussions, and linking the moral message of the story to the learning context. Thus, the storytelling method has proven effective in improving students' understanding of Pancasila Education materials and instilling positive characters according to the profile of Pancasila students

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode storytelling dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, khususnya pada materi "Peraturan di Sekolahku" di kelas VIII SMPN 24 Kota Serang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan storytelling mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, interaktif, dan menyenangkan bagi peserta didik. Melalui cerita yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, peserta didik lebih mudah memahami dan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila yang terkandung dalam peraturan sekolah. Selain itu, metode ini juga meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, imajinasi, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Guru berperan penting dalam memilih cerita yang sesuai, membimbing diskusi, dan mengaitkan pesan moral cerita dengan konteks pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, metode storytelling terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi Pendidikan Pancasila serta menanamkan karakter positif sesuai profil pelajar Pancasila. | |||||||||
