Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on senior high school students’ mathematical reflective thinking ability in terms of their level of self-efficacy. The background of this research stems from the low level of students' mathematical reflective thinking ability. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with a 3×2 factorial format. The sampling technique employed was cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this study included a mathematical reflective thinking ability test and a self efficacy questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using two-way anova to examine the effects of each variable and their interaction. The results of the study indicate that: (1) there is a significant difference in mathematical reflective thinking ability between students taught using the PBL model and those taught using the Discovery Learning model; (2) students with high self-efficacy demonstrated better reflective thinking ability compared to those with moderate and low self-efficacy; and (3) there is no interaction between the learning model and students’ self-efficacy levels on their mathematical reflective thinking ability.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa SMA ditinjau dari tingkat self efficacy mereka. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 3×2. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis dan angket self efficacy siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji anova dua jalur untuk melihat pengaruh masing-masing variabel dan interaksinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model PBL dan siswa yang menggunakan model Discovery Learning; (2) siswa dengan tingkat self efficacy tinggi memiliki kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki self efficacy sedang dan rendah; dan (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan tingkat self efficacy terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa. | |||||||||
