Abstract
This study was motivated by the lack of interactive learning media and assessment tools in basic avionics material, which has impacted the development of critical thinking skills among aircraft maintenance trainees. The main objective of this research is to develop interactive learning media and a Quizizz-based assessment to foster critical thinking skills among aircraft maintenance trainees at the Lion Group Training Center (LGTC) in Balaraja. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The development process involved needs analysis, media and instrument design, content development, implementation in training activities, and evaluation of media effectiveness. Validation tests were carried out by subject matter experts and media experts, resulting in a feasibility score of 82% (very feasible) and 78% (feasible), respectively. Validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, and t-tests were conducted to ensure the accuracy and significance of the research instrument tests. Pre-test and post-test results analyzed using the N-Gain Score yielded a gain of 0.58, indicating moderate-to-high effectiveness. Meanwhile, trainees’ responses to the media use showed an average questionnaire score of 86% (categorized as very good). These results confirm that the developed interactive learning media and Quizizz-based assessment are effective in enhancing critical thinking skills among aircraft maintenance trainees.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya media pembelajaran interaktif dan alat evaluasi pada materi dasar avionik, yang berdampak pada rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta pelatihan dasar perawatan pesawat udara. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif dan asesmen berbasis Quizizz yang dapat melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta pelatihan teknik pesawat terbang di Lion Group Training Center (LGTC), Balaraja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Proses pengembangan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain media dan instrumen, pengembangan konten, implementasi media dalam kegiatan pelatihan, serta evaluasi efektivitas media. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, masing-masing memperoleh persentase sebesar 82% (kategori sangat layak) dan 78% (kategori layak). Uji Validitas, Uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, dan uji-t juga dilakukan untuk memastikan keandalan dan kebermaknaan statistik dari instrumen tes yang digunakan. Hasil pre-test dan post-test dianalisis menggunakan N-Gain Score dan menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 0,58, yang berada dalam kategori “sedang–tinggi.” Sementara itu, respon peserta pelatihan terhadap penggunaan media menunjukkan rata-rata skor angket sebesar 86% (kategori sangat baik). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif dan asesmen berbasis Quizizz yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta pelatihan teknik pesawat terbang. | |||||||||
