Abstract
Based on the problems that continue to emerge regarding the widespread circulation of counterfeit rupiahs and unfit rupiahs in Banten Province, it causes economic losses and undermines trust in the rupiah as a symbol of state sovereignty. Bank Indonesia as the monetary authority and rupiah money manager has an obligation to maintain the quality and safety of the rupiah. With that, researchers believe that the Cinta, Bangga, Paham Rupiah Literacy Campaign program is very important to equip public knowledge about rupiah. The purpose of this study is to explain The Role of Public Relations of Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Banten Province in Cinta, Bangga, Paham Rupiah Literacy Campaign. This research uses Broom and Dozier's 1995 public relations role theory, such as expert prescriber, communication fasilitator, problem solving process fasilitator, and communication technician. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate the role of the Public Relations unit of the Regional Representative Office of Bank Indonesia Banten Province which functions at the managerial skill level, human relations skill, and technical skill in conducting the Cinta, Bangga, Paham Rupiah Literacy Campaign in Banten Province.

| Additional Information: | Berdasarkan permasalahan yang terus muncul mengenai maraknya peredaran uang rupiah palsu dan uang rupiah tidak layak edar di Provinsi Banten menimbulkan kerugian ekonomi dan merusak kepercayaan terhadap rupiah sebagai simbol kedaulatan negara. Bank Indonesia sebagai otoritas moneter dan pengelola uang rupiah memiliki kewajiban untuk menjaga kualitas dan keamanan rupiah. Dengan itu, peneliti meyakini bahwa program Kampanye Literasi Cinta, Bangga, Paham Rupiah sangat penting untuk membekali pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap rupiah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan Peran Humas Kantor Perwakilan Wilayah Bank Indonesia Provinsi Banten dalam mengkampanyekan program literasi Cinta, Bangga, Paham Rupiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori peran humas Broom dan Dozier tahun 1995, yaitu penasihat ahli, fasilitator komunikasi, fasilitator proses pemecahan masalah, dan teknisi komunikasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peran Unit Kehumasan Kantor Perwakilan Wilayah Bank Indonesia Provinsi Banten yang berfungsi pada tingkat manajerial skill, keterampilan hubungan antar individu, dan keterampilan teknis dalam melakukan Kampanye Literasi Cinta, Bangga, Paham Rupiah di Provinsi Banten. | ||||||
