Abstract
Short stories that use substitutional grammatical cohesion tools tend to be more varied, less monotonous, and less boring when reading. This study aims to describe the forms of grammatical cohesion substitution in the collection of short stories Without Plan by Dee Lestari and their relevance as a teaching module. In this study, a descriptive qualitative approach was used. This study uses the simak method to collect data with literature study techniques, simak techniques, tapping techniques, and recording techniques. At the data analysis stage, the distribution method is used by involving alternate techniques, reverse techniques, and disappearing techniques. The validity of the research data was confirmed using the investigator's triangulation technique. Based on the description of the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the collection of short stories Sans Rencana by Dee Lestari in it has a fairly good level of cohesion when viewed from the grammatical aspect of substitution. The results of this study found the grammatical cohesion of substitution as many as 80 data. with details: 1) Noun substitution 38 data (48%) refers to the change of the name of the person, the change of the name of the place, the name of the profession and is anaphora and cataphore (data: the phrase All my acquaintances are replaced by them; a shop replaces Kedai Asam Garam; my boss replaces Dai) which serves to strengthen the relationship between texts; 2) Verb substitution 36 data (46%) refers to the replacement of active verbs with active verbs, as well as refers to the replacement of active verbs with passive verbs that are anaphoratic (data: meet replaced meet; stop sounds replaced by silenced ) which serves to reinforce the author's language style; and 3) Substitution of clause 6 data (6%) replacement of the entire sentence with a demonstrative word, and in the form of the replacement of the entire sentence with the noun phrase which is anaphoric and cataphoric (data: To complete the story of Beni, comes the Roti Bakar Sihotang, which is none other than bread beroles butter and sugar. "This is how Beni likes to eat bread") which serves to help summarize previous information. This research is relevant as a teaching module so that it can be used in making a teaching module of short story text material at the vocational high school (SMK) class XI level, using an independent curriculum.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kohesi gramatikal substitusi dalam kumpulan cerita pendek Tanpa Rencana karya Dee Lestari dan relevansinya sebagai modul ajar. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak untuk mengumpulkan data dengan teknik studi pustaka, teknik simak, teknik sadap, dan teknik catat. Pada tahap analisis data menggunakan metode agih dengan melibatkan teknik ganti, teknik balik, dan teknik lesap. Data penelitian diteguhkan validitasnya menggunakan teknik triangulasi penyidik. Berdasarkan uraian hasil dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kumpulan cerpen Tanpa Rencana karya Dee Lestari di dalamnya memiliki tingkat kohesi yang cukup baik jika ditinjau dari aspek gramatikal substitusi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini ditemukan kohesi gramatikal substitusi sebanyak 80 data. dengan rincian: 1) Substitusi nomina 38 data (48%) mengacu pada penggantian nama orang, penggantian nama tempat, nama profesi dan bersifat anafora dan katafora (data: frasa Semua kenalanku digantikan mereka; sebuah kedai menggantikan Kedai Asam Garam; bosku menggantikan Dai) yang berfungsi memperkuat hubungan antar teks; 2) Substitusi verba 36 data (46%) mengacu pada penggantian kata kerja aktif dengan kata kerja aktif, serta mengacu pada penggantian kata kerja aktif dengan kata kerja pasif bersifat anafora (data: berjumpa diganti bertemu; berhenti berbunyi digantikan oleh kata terbungkam) yang berfungsi memperkuat gaya bahasa pengarang; dan 3) Substitusi klausa 6 data (6%) penggantian kalimat secara keseluruhan dengan kata demonstratif, dan berupa penggantian kalimat secara keseluruhan dengan frasa nomina bersifat anaforis dan kataforis (data: Untuk melengkapi kisah tentang Beni, datanglah Roti Bakar Sihotang, yang tak lain adalah roti beroles mentega dan gula. “Seperti beginilah Beni suka makan roti”) yang berfungsi membantu merangkum informasi sebelumnya. Penelitian ini relevan sebagai modul ajar sehingga dapat digunakan dalam membuat modul ajar materi teks cerita pendek pada jenjang sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) kelas XI, menggunakan kurikulum merdeka. | |||||||||
