Abstract
The problem of discrimination that arises is formed from prejudice that is born in real actions. Therefore, this discrimination is believed to be an act aimed at fighting other groups who are struggling to get something that can ultimately violate Human Rights (HAM). The form of rejection of certain individuals or minority groups is one form of discrimination. In this case, androgynous individuals are often disadvantaged. Forms of direct and indirect discrimination include bullying, assault, verbal and nonverbal harassment. In this study, the author uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to see and hear more deeply about the explanation and understanding of individuals towards each of their experiences. Rejection of androgynous individuals that occurs unconsciously, limits their freedom and comfort in expressing their identity. The lack of a broader understanding of gender diversity makes androgynous individuals have to adapt to an environment that is not yet fully willing to accept them. As a result, social and cultural pressures often lead to discriminatory treatment.

| Additional Information: | Permasalahan diskriminasi yang mencuat terbentuk dari prasangka yang dilahirkan dalam tindakan yang nyata. Karenanya diskriminasi ini diyakini sebagai perbuatan yang ditujukan untuk melawan kelompok lain yang berjuang mendapatkan sesuatu yang akhirnya dapat melanggar Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM). Bentuk penolakan terhadap individu tertentu atau kelompok minoritas merupakan salah satu bentuk diskriminasi. Dalam hal ini Individu androgini seringkali dirugikan. Bentuk diskriminasi langsung dan tidak langsung mencakup perundungan, penyerangan, pelecehan verbal dan nonverbal. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis memanfaatkan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk melihat serta mendengar lebih dalam atas penjelasan juga pemahaman individu tehadap setiap pengalamanya. Penolakan terhadap individu androgini yang terjadi secara tidak sadar, membuat kebebasan dan kenyamanan mereka dalam mengekspresikan identitasnya menjadi terbatas. Kurangnya pemahaman yang lebih luas tentang keberagaman gender membuat individu androgini harus beradaptasi dengan lingkungan yang belum sepenuhnya mau menerima mereka. Alhasil tekanan sosial dan budaya kerap mengarah ke perlakuan diskriminasi. | ||||||
