Abstract
Education has a crucial role in building human resources to build awareness and care for the environment through various approaches, such as the implementation of the 3 (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) program which is a step to foster a sense of concern and sensitivity to the environment. Providing education about the environment to students can help students understand the issue of environmental problems because waste problems can occur on a small scale, such as waste that is not managed properly in the school environment. This research uses descriptive method and qualitative approach through data obtained primary and secondary with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the 3R program provides changes in the awareness of students in an attitude of environmental care, forming behavior, and a good mindset related to a friendly environment, and creating a healthy environment.

| Additional Information: | Pendidikan mampunyai peran krusial dalam membangun sumber daya manusia untuk membangun kesadaran dan peduli terhadap lingkungan melalui berbagai pendekatan, seperti penerapan program 3 (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) yang menjadi langkah untuk menumbuhkan rasa kepedulian dan kepekaan terhadap lingkungan. Memberikan edukasi mengenai lingkungan kepada peserta didik dapat membantu peserta didik memahami isu permasalahan lingkungan karena permasalahan sampah dapat terjadi dalam skala kecil, seperti sampah yang tidak terkelola dengan baik di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif melalui data yang diperoleh secara primer dan sekunder dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya program 3R memberikan perubahan pada kesadaran peserta didik dalam sikap peduli lingkungan, membentuk perilaku, dan pola pikir yang baik terkait lingkungan yang ramah, serta menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat. | |||||||||
