Abstract

This research and development aims to determine the feasibility and response of students to the use of snake and ladder media, as well as to assess the improvement in students' understanding of the local culture of Banten after using the Snake and Ladder Media Based on the LOK-R Model with Banten Local Culture Content. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques in this research include interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The subjects of this study are fourth-grade students at Sukamanah State Elementary School. The results show that the material expert validation achieved a percentage of 93% in the "Very Feasible" category, media expert validation achieved a percentage of 89% in the "Very Feasible" category, and language expert validation achieved a percentage of 93% in the "Very Feasible" category. The product trial results with students obtained an average score of 93%, falling into the "Very Good" interpretation category. Furthermore, the knowledge and understanding of fourth-grade students at Sukamanah State Elementary School regarding the local culture of Banten improved after using the developed snake and ladder media, with pre-test results showing an average score of 57 in the "Needs Guidance" category, which increased to an average post-test score of 90 in the "Very Good" category. Thus, the Snake and Ladder Media Based on the LOK-R Model with Banten Culture Content is very feasible to use and can enhance the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. Additional Information: Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan media ular tangga, serta untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap budaya lokal Banten setelah menggunakan Media Ular Tangga Berbasis Model LOK-R Bermuatan Budaya Lokal Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan wawancara, observasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Sukamanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase 93% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase 89% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, dan validasi ahli bahasa memperoleh persentase 93% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Hasil uji coba produk kepada peserta didik memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 93% masuk dalam kategori interpretasi “Sangat Baik”. Selanjutnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Sukamanah terhadap budaya lokal Banten mengalami peningkatam setelah menggunakan media ular tangga yang dikembangkan dengan hasil pre-test dengan rata-rata penilaian 57 dalam kategori “Perlu Bimbingan” dan hasil post-test memperoleh rata-rata penilailaian 90 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Dengan demikian Media Ular Tangga Berbasis Model LOK-R Bermuatan Budaya Banten sangat layak untuk digunakan dan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar.
