Abstract
Teachers serve as role models who facilitate students in the learning process. Because teachers have so much to do, they must be professional and knowledgeable, or they will not be able to meet the increasingly diverse needs of their students. The government has launched the Merdeka Teach platform, specifically designed to support teacher competency development. This study aims to: 1) Describe teachers' perceptions of the presence of PMM as an effort to develop teachers' professional competence. 2). Describe the stages of use PMM as an effort to develop teachers' professional competence.3). Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for the use ofP MM as an effort to develop teachers' professional competence. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods obtained from interview sources, observations, and documentation. The subjects of this study were the principal and 3 teachers at SDN Nyapah 2, the study took place from February to June 2025. The results of the study indicate that: 1).Teachers and principals responded positively to the presence of PMM because they were aware of the features available in PMM. according to teacher needs. 2). The stages of PMM utilization are carried out by teachers through independent training, career and performance development, and utilization of learning inspiration. 3). Supporting factors for PMM utilization include the availability of facilities and infrastructure, internet network, teacher competence and readiness, and peer support. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors for PMM utilization include limited teaching resources and materials, low teacher motivation, lack of understanding of technology, and teachers' lack of sufficient time.

| Additional Information: | Guru menjadi contoh yang akan memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Karena banyak yang harus dilakukan guru maka seorang guru harus profesional memiliki banyak pengetahuan, jika tidak guru tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik yang semakin beragam. Pemerintah telah merilis platform Merdeka mengajar yang dirancang khusus untuk mendukung dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1). Mendeskripsikan persepsi guru atas kehadiran PMM sebagai upaya pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru. 2). Mendeskripsikan tahapan penggunaan PMM sebagai upaya pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru. 3). Mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat penggunaan PMM sebagai upaya pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang diperoleh dari sumber wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan 3 guru di SDN Nyapah 2, penelitian berlangsung dari bulan Februari hingga Juni 2025. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1). Guru dan kepala sekolah merespon positif hadirnya PMM karena menyadari fitur-fitur yang tersedia di dalam PMM sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru. 2). Tahapan pemanfaatan PMM dilakukan guru dengan pelatihan mandiri, pengisian karir dan kinerja dan pemanfaatan inspirasi pembelajaran. 3). Faktor pendukung penggunaan PMM yaitu ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana, jaringan internet, kompetensi dan kesiapan guru dan dukungan rekan sejawat. Sedangkan faktor penghambat penggunaan PMM yaitu sumber dan bahan pengajaran yang terbatas, rendahnya motivasi guru, kurangnya pemaham teknologi, dan guru tidak memiliki waktu yang cukup. | |||||||||
