Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of using the SQ3R learning model on the historical thinking ability of students in history subjects in class x.4 SMAN 3 Tangerang Regency. The research method used in the study is a quantitative method with a quantitative preexperimental design with a one-group Pretest-Posttest design. Which consists of various processes during the learning process: Pretest, giving SQ3R model treatment in history learning carried out for 4 meetings, and Posttest. In the learning process, there was a significant increase in students' historical thinking ability using the SQ3R learning model at each meeting.It can be concluded that the application of the SQ3R model provides support in improving students' historical thinking skills. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been presented in Chapter IV, it can be concluded from this study, namely that there is a significant influence between the SQ3R learning model (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) on the historical thinking skills of students in the history subject on the material on the process of entry and development of Hinduism-Buddha in class X.4 SMAN 3 Tangerang Regency. This can be proven from the results of hypothesis testing through the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, if the test results are sig-2 tailed <0.05 then there is an influence. After the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was carried out, the results of the sig-2 tailed level were -001 <0.05. Then, the difference between the average Pretest and Posttest reached 32.9, thus it can be interpreted that there is an increase in students' historical thinking skills through the results of the test instrument that is in accordance with the historical thinking indicators.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran SQ3R terhadap kemampuan berpikir historis peserta didik mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas x.4 sman 3 kabupaten tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Dalam penelitian adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain one-group Pretest-Posttest. Yang terdiri dari berbagai proses saat pembelajaran berlangsung: Pretest,pemberian perlakuan model SQ3R dalam pembelajaran sejarah dilakukan sebanyak 4 pertemuan, dan Posttest. Pada proses pembelajaran terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir hitoris siswa secara signifikan menggunakan model pembelajaran SQ3R pada setiap pertemuan. Dengan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model SQ3R memberikan dukungan dalam meningkatkan kemmapuan berpikir historis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dipaparkan pada Bab IV, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) terhadap kemampuan berpikir historis peserta didik mata pelajaran sejarah pada materi proses masuk dan berkembangnya Hindu-Buddha di kelas X.4 SMAN 3 Kabupaten Tangerang. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari hasil pengujian hipotesis melalui Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, jika hasil pengujian sig-2 tailed < 0,05 maka terdapat pengaruh. Setelah dilakukan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test mendapatkan hasil taraf sig-2 tailed -001 < 0,05. Kemudian, selisih dari rata-rata Pretest dan Posttest mencapai angka 32,9 dengan demikian dapat diartikan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir historis peserta didik melalui hasil instrumen tes yang sesuai dengan indikator berpikir historis. | |||||||||
