Abstract
Sawarna Beach has a stretch of beach that extends in the southern part of the western island of Java. Grains of white sand and rows of steep coral accompanied by the waves of the Indonesian ocean make the area presents a beautiful panorama. This study aims to determine and analyze the potential of Sawarna Beach as Bioeducational Tourism related to biology learning in Class X high school. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with the type of phenomenological study, with the research subjects of tour managers, local communities, biology teachers, and grade X students. Sources of data obtained through primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used in the study through four techniques, namely observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data validity test technique in this study used source and method tringulation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that Sawarna Beach holds extraordinary natural potential, both from tourist attractions, ecosystem diversity, coastal flora and marine fauna that add to the ecological value of the beach. Therefore, Sawarna Beach has great potential to be used as a Bioeducational Tourism related to the learning of Class X high school biology.

| Additional Information: | Pantai Sawarna memiliki bentang pantai yang memanjang di selatan pulau jawa bagian barat. Butiran pasir putih dan deretan karang terjal diiringi deburan ombak samudera Indonesia menjadikan daerah tersebut menyajikan panorama yang indah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis potensi Pantai Sawarna sebagai Bioeduwisata kaitannya pada pembelajaran biologi SMA Kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi fenomenologi, dengan subjek penelitian pengelola wisata, masyarakat lokal, guru biologi, dan siswa kelas X. Sumber data yang didapat melalui data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian melalui empat teknik yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Teknik uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tringulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Pantai Sawarna menyimpan potensi alam yang luar biasa, baik dari atraksi wisata, keanekaragaman ekosistem, flora pantai dan fauna laut yang menambah nilai ekologis pantai. Oleh karena itu, Pantai Sawarna memiliki potensi yang besar untuk dijadikan sebagai Bioeduwisata yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran biologi SMA Kelas X. | |||||||||
