Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of BTS ARMY fandom's social activities in building social care character among its members. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, involving interviews, observations, and document analysis of five active fandom members on the X account @armyfess_. The results indicate that the social activities of the BTS ARMY fandom, such as humanitarian donations, environmental actions, volunteer work, and social campaigns, significantly contribute to the formation of social care character, encompassing empathy, social responsibility, and solidarity. These activities not only positively impact society but also reinforce humanitarian values among fandom members. The findings affirm that fan communities can serve as effective agents of social change while offering a new model for character education based on collective participation.
