Abstract
In general, all countries have goals and are trying to achieve sustainable development goals or Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By achieving gender health and empowering women and girls in accordance with goal 5 of the SDGs and by supporting inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all in accordance with goal 8 of the SDGs. The success of this development depends on the extent to which women and men continue to be encouraged to participate equally in all aspects of life. However, in reality in the East Asia Pacific region, female unemployment is still relatively high compared to male unemployment. This study covers 28 countries in the East Asia Pacific region using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM). The results obtained show that employment opportunities, health, and economic growth have a negative effect on the female unemployment rate, while migration has no effect on the female unemployment rate.
