Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine and explore the improvement of tourism management in Lebak Regency through the development of the Bayah Dome Geopark. Through the development of the Bayah Dome Geopark carried out by the Lebak Regency government, it became an impetus to improve tourism management in objects that have potential. The theory used is Tourism Development (Pearce, 1981) and the Geopark Development theory initiated by (Sapari et al., 2021). The research method uses a qualitative method with the Creswell intrinsic case study approach, focusing on cases that occur in depth and have uniqueness to be detailed or described. The results of the study show that: Attractions are still formed naturally without the involvement of the Lebak Regency government to add tourism attractions that have potential. Transportation to the Bayah Dome Geopark area still has obstacles because the allocation of vehicles determined by the Lebak Regency government does not match the vehicles in operation. Accommodation is dominated by homestays and villas, but there are problems regarding the arrangement of the buildings, the price is relatively expensive, does not match the facilities, and the construction of the building is not equipped with a certificate of ownership and hotel-type accommodation is still rarely found in the Bayah Dome Geopark area. Supporting facilities (Other facilities and services) available as a result of object management without in-depth government involvement. Infrastructure in the Bayah Dome Geopark area still has shortcomings based on the conditions of each tourism object that has potential.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengkaji dan mengeksplorasi mengenai peningkatan pengelolaan pariwisata di Kabupaten Lebak melalui pengembangan Geopark Bayah Dome. Melalui adanya pengembangan Geopark Bayah Dome yang dilakukan pemerintah Kabupaten Lebak menjadi dorongan untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan pariwisata pada objek yang memiliki potensi. Teori yang digunakan adalah Pengembangan Pariwisata (Pearce, 1981) dan teori Pengembangan Geopark yang digagas oleh (Sapari et al., 2021). Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus intrinsik Creswell, dengan memfokuskan pada kasus yang terjadi secara mendalam serta memiliki keunikan untuk diperinci atau dideskripsikan. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan bahwa: Attractions masih terbentuk secara alami tanpa keterlibatan pemerintah Kabupaten Lebak untuk menambahkan daya tarik pariwisata yang memiliki potensi. Transport menuju kawasan Geopark Bayah Dome masih memiliki kendala karena alokasi kendaran yang ditetapkan pemerintah Kabupaten Lebak tidak sesuai dengan kendaraan yang beroperasi. Accommodation didominasi oleh homestay dan villa, namun terdapat permasalahan mengenai penataan bangunannya, harga relatif mahal, tidak sesuai dengan fasilitasnya, dan pendirian bangunannya tidak dilengkapi dengan surat kepemilikan dan accommodation berjenis hotel masih jarang ditemukan pada kawasan Geopark Bayah Dome. Supporting facilities (Other facilities and services) yang tersedia hasil pengelola objek tanpa keterlibatan pemerintah secara mendalam. Infrastructure pada kawasan Geopark Bayah Dome masih terdapat kekurangan berdasarkan kondisi dari setiap objek pariwisata yang memiliki potensi. | ||||||
