Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to understand the implementation of merchant EDCs in the e-channel to enhance banking benefits at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Serang branch. The writing method used is observation and interviews, with primary data as the source. The result of the writing is the procedure for using merchant EDCs at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. Serang branch, which includes application submission, document verification, location and feasibility surveys, approvals and contracts, EDC installation and activation, notification of EDC use, monitoring and evaluation. The benefits of using merchant EDCs at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. Serang branch through the e-channel include more transactions, ease of use, complete features, socialization and education, friendly and responsive service, utilization of the latest technology, cooperation with merchants, and reward programs. In addition, there are obstacles faced by Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. The branches in Serang face issues such as unstable network connection disturbances, a lack of understanding from merchants regarding the use of EDC, and slow responses from technical support.

Additional Information: Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi EDC merchant yang terdapat di E- Channel untuk meningkatkan benefit perbankan pada Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Cabang Serang. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara, sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Adapun hasil penulisan adalah prosedur penggunaan EDC merchant di Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. Cabang Serang yaitu pengajuan permohonan, verifikasi dokumen, survei lokasi dan kelayakan, persetujuan dan kontrak, instalasi dan aktivasi EDC, pemberitahuan penggunaan EDC, monitoring dan evaluasi. Faktor benefit penggunaan EDC merchant di Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. Cabang Serang melalui EDC merchant E-channel yaitu lebih banyak transaksi, kemudahan penggunaan, fitur yang lengkap, sosialisasi dan edukasi, pelayanan ramah dan responsif, pemanfaatan teknologi terbaru, kerjasama dengan merchant, dan program penghargaan. Selain itu, terdapat hambatan yang di hadapi oleh Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. Cabang Serang yaitu gangguan koneksi jaringan yang tidak stabil, kurangnya pemahaman merchant mengenai penggunaan EDC, dan respon pelayanan dukungan teknis yang lambat.
