Abstract
The excretory system material in Biology is often considered difficult to understand due to its abstract and complex nature. The lack of interactive visual media poses a challenge in the learning process. Augmented Reality (AR) based on Android offers an innovative solution by providing concrete and easily accessible visualizations of concepts. This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of an Augmented Reality-based learning media called ARSEA (Augmented Reality Sistem Ekskresi Android) for teaching the excretory system in Grade XI senior high school. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D), using the ADDIE development model which was implemented in four stages: analysis, design, development, and evaluation. The study was conducted from September 2024 to June 2025 at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, SMAN 2 Kota Serang, and SMAN 6 Kota Serang. The subjects involved in the study included 3 media experts, 3 content experts, 2 Biology teachers, and 18 Grade XI students. Based on the research findings, the media expert validation scored an average of 93.12% (categorized as very feasible), while the material expert validation scored an average of 91.8% (also very feasible). The user response from teachers obtained an average score of 93.5%, and the response from students was 89.57%, both categorized as very feasible. These results indicate that the Android-based Augmented Reality media is highly feasible to be used as a learning tool for the excretory system concept.

| Additional Information: | Materi sistem ekskresi dalam Biologi sering dianggap sulit dipahami karena bersifat abstrak dan kompleks. Kurangnya media visual yang interaktif menjadi tantangan dalam proses pembelajaran. Augmented Reality (AR) berbasis Android dapat menjadi solusi inovatif karena mampu menyajikan visualisasi konsep secara konkret dan mudah diakses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality berbasis Android pada materi sistem ekskresi (ARSEA) kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dilakukan hanya empat tahap, yaitu tahap analisis (analyze), tahap desain (design), tahap pengembangan (development), dan tahap evaluasi (evaluation). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2024 sampai Juni 2025 di Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, SMAN 2 Kota Serang, dan SMAN 6 Kota Serang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 (tiga) orang ahli media, 3 (tiga) orang ahli materi, 2 (dua) orang guru Biologi, dan 18 (delapan belas) siswa kelas XI SMA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada uji kelayakan ahli media diperoleh nilai rata-rata 93,12% (kategori sangat layak), pada uji kelayakan ahli materi diperoleh nilai rata-rata 91,8% (kategori sangat layak). Uji respon pengguna oleh guru diperoleh nilai rata- rata 93,5% dan uji respon pengguna oleh siswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata 89,57% keduanya termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Augmented Reality berbasis android sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada konsep sistem ekskresi. | |||||||||
