Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the LAB Ri learning model on change material on students' environmental literacy. There are six stages of learning used in LAB Ri including orientation, Research design, Exploration, Analyze, Conclusion and Exhibition. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were students of SMAN 4 Kota Serang, the sample using Simple random sampling technique was students of class X IPA 5 as the experimental class and students of class X IPA 6 as the control class. The instrument used was an environmental literacy questionnaire consisting of three components, namely ecological knowledge, cognitive skills and environmental attitudes. The data analysis technique used the independent sample t-test (t-test). The results obtained from the independent sample t-test (t-test) on each component of environmental literacy have a significance value of <0.05, this means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so there is an effect of the Learning by Research learning model on change material on students' environmental literacy. Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran LAB Ri pada materi perubahan lingkungan terhadap literasi lingkungan siswa. Terdapat enam tahapan pembelajaran yang digunakan pada Learning by Research diantaranya orientation, Research design, Exploration, Analyze, Conclusion dan Exhibition. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 4 Kota Serang, sampel menggunakan Teknik acak sederhana (Simple random sampling) adalah siswa kelas X IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas X IPA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket literasi lingkungan yang terdiri dari tiga komponen yaitu pengetahuan ekologi, keterampilan kognitif dan sikap lingkungan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test (uji-t). Hasil yang didapatkan dari uji independent sample t-test (uji-t) pada tiap komponen literasi lingkungan memiliki nilai signifikasi <0,05 hal ini berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, maka terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran LAB Ri pada materi perubahan lingkungan terhadap literasi lingkungan siswa.
