Abstract
The analysis of Indonesian spelling errors is one unit of language error analysis that refers to the examination of whether or not the use of Indonesian spelling is in accordance with linguistic rules. The purpose of this study is to classify and describe the types and forms of Indonesian spelling errors found in the descriptions of collections in museums in Banten; to describe the factors that influence these errors; and to explain the implementation of the results of the analysis of Indonesian spelling errors found in the descriptions of collections in museums in Banten in teaching modules for junior high school Indonesian language learning. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study strategy because it produces descriptive data in the form of writing as an effort to bridge the researcher's understanding of the case being studied. Data collection was carried out using observation, documentation, and interviews. The data sources for this research came from the descriptions of collection items in museums in Banten. After the data sources were collected, the researcher analyzed the data using an interactive model and referred to the procedures for analyzing language errors. The collected data were processed using data triangulation techniques, which involved selecting three competent and expert investigators in their respective fields. The research results revealed spelling errors in 124 collection item descriptions, totaling 390 data points. The Indonesian spelling error data consisted of 206 errors in letter usage (53.0%), 53 errors in word spelling (13.5%), 123 errors in punctuation usage (31.5%), and 8 errors in the spelling of loanwords (2.0%). The spelling errors found were influenced by several factors, including the lack of attention to detail by the writers, the writers' lack of understanding of EYD V, the lack of mechanisms for monitoring and correcting writing, and the lack of involvement by the Language Development and Promotion Agency. The research results, consisting of data and data sources obtained, can be implemented as teaching materials in the ninth-grade (IX) middle school curriculum module on descriptive text and writing elements.

| Additional Information: | Analisis kesalahan ejaan bahasa Indonesia merupakan salah satu unit analisis kesalahan berbahasa yang mengacu pada upaya penelaahan mengenai tercapai atau tidaknya penggunaan ejaan bahasa Indonesia yang sesuai dengan kaidah kebahasaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengklasifikasi serta mendeskripsikan jenis dan bentuk kesalahan ejaan bahasa Indonesia yang terdapat dalam deskripsi koleksi pada museum di Banten; mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesalahan tersebut; dan menjelaskan implementasi hasil analisis kesalahan ejaan bahasa Indonesia yang terdapat dalam deskripsi koleksi pada museum di Banten dalam modul ajar pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus karena penelitian ini menghasilkan data yang bersifat deskriptif dalam bentuk tulisan sebagai upaya menjembatani pemahaman peneliti terhadap kasus yang diteliti. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari deskripsi benda koleksi pada museum-museum di Banten. Setelah sumber data terkumpul, peneliti menganalisis data dengan model interaktif serta mengacu pada prosedur kerja analisis kesalahan berbahasa. Data yang telah terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi data, yakni memilih tiga orang penyidik yang berkompeten dan ahli dalam bidangnya. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya temuan kesalahan ejaan dalam 124 deskripsi benda koleksi sebanyak 390 data. Data kesalahan ejaan bahasa Indonesia tersebut terdiri dari kesalahan penggunaan huruf sebanyak 206 atau 53,0%, kesalahan penulisan kata ditemukan sebanyak 53 data atau 13,5%, kesalahan penggunaan tanda baca diperoleh sebanyak 123 data atau 31,5%, dan kesalahan penulisan unsur serapan ditemukan sebanyak 8 data atau 2,0%. Kesalahan ejaan yang ditemukan dipengaruhi beberapa faktor, yaitu kurangnya ketelitian penulis, kurangnya pemahaman penulis tentang EYD V, kurangnya mekanisme pemantauan dan perbaikan penulisan, serta kurangnya peran Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa. Hasil penelitian berupa data dan sumber data yang diperoleh dapat diimplementasikan sebagai bahan ajar di dalam modul ajar kelas IX (sembilan) tingkat SMP pada materi teks deskripsi, elemen menulis. | |||||||||
