Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze direct effect of green innovation on firm value and indirect effect of financial flexibibility as a mediating variable. This research was conducted on companies in the energy and basic materials sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021–2023 period.This study employs panel data regression analysis, specifically multiple linear regression and the sobel test. The partial test shows that the green process has a significant effect on financial flexibility. Meanwhile, green products do not have a significant effect on financial flexibility. This study found that green innovation has no significant effect on firm value. These findings also indicate that financial flexibility has no significant effect as a variable that mediates between green innovation and firm value. This study also conducted additional tests to see the effect of each company sector. the existence of different characteristics shows different results as well. when sector testing is separated, it shows that simultaneously green innovation affects on firm value.
