Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model with YouTube video media on the critical thinking skills of class XI students at SMAN 2 Cileungsi. The method used in this study is Quasy Experimental, with a sampling technique of non-probability sampling. The sample in this study was XI.6 as many as 36 students as an experimental class using the Problem Based Learning learning model with YouTube video media and XI.7 as many as 36 students as a control class using the Discovery Learning model. The test instrument used was in the form of a description with a total of 10 questions. Based on the results of data analysis, there is an effect of using the Problem Based Learning learning model with YouTube video media on students' critical thinking skills as evidenced by hypothesis testing through a two-party t-test which shows t_count (3.446) ≥ t_((table)) (1.994) with delta = 0.05 so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. By applying the Problem Based Learning model to History subjects, students will be encouraged to work together in groups to solve problems together. YouTube, as a video platform, can be utilized to support discussions in solving these problems. Through the steps taken, it will improve students' critical thinking skills so that the objectives of learning History can be achieved.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasy Eksperimental, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu non probability sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah XI.6 sebanyak 36 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan media video YouTube dan XI.7 sebanyak 36 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model Discovery Learning. Instrumen test yang digunakan berbentuk uraian dengan jumlah 10 soal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan media video YouTube terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dibuktikan dengan pengujian hipotesis melalui uji-t dua pihak yang menunjukkan t_hitung (3,446) ≥ t_((tabel) ) (1,994) dengan delta = 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Sejarah, siswa akan terdorong untuk bekerja sama dalam kelompok guna memecahkan masalah secara bersama-sama. YouTube, sebagai platform video, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendukung diskusi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Melalui langkah-langkah yang dilakukan sehingga akan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sehingga tujuan pembelajaran Sejarah dapat tercapai. | |||||||||
