Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the composition of the planting medium and the dose of kasgot fertilizer on the growth and yield of pagoda mustard greens. This research was conducted in Nambo Ilir Village, Kibin District, Serang Regency, Banten in November 2024 - January 2025. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of two factors with the first factor being the composition of the planting media (M) consisting of 3 levels, namely M1 (soil: chicken manure: rice husk charcoal), M2 (soil: chicken manure: sawdust), and M3 (soil: chicken manure: cocopeat) each with a ratio of 1:1:1 each and the second factor was the dose of kasgot fertilizer (P) consisting of 5 levels, namely P1 (0 g/plant), P2 (50 g/plant), P3 (100 g/plant), P4 (150 g/plant), and P5 (200 g/plant). Each treatment was repeated 3 times and resulting in 45 experimental units. The results showed that M2 planting media composition gave the best effect on the parameters of the number of leaves at the age of 21 Days After Planting (DAP) and 35 DAP, weight plant, and fresh weight of consumption. The administration of the kasgot fertilizer had the best effect with the dose of 150 g/plant on the parameters of plant height at the age of 35 DAP and 42 DAP. The best interaction was found on the combination of M1 media and the 150 g/plant kasgot fertilizer on the parameters of plant height at the age of 21 DAP and 28 DAP and the number of leaves at 14 DAP.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi media tanam dan dosis pupuk kasgot terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi pagoda. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Nambo Ilir, Kecamatan Kibin, Kabupaten Serang, Banten pada bulan November 2024 – Januari 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari dua faktor dengan faktor pertama yaitu komposisi media tanam (M) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu M1 (tanah: pupuk kandang ayam: arang sekam padi), M2 (tanah: pupuk kandang ayam: serbuk gergaji), dan M3 (tanah: pupuk kandang ayam: cocopeat) masing-masing dengan perbandingan 1:1:1 dan faktor kedua yaitu dosis pupuk kasgot (P) yang terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu P1 (0 g/tanaman), P2 (50 g/tanaman), P3 (100 g/tanaman), P4 (150 g/tanaman), dan P5 (200 g/tanaman). Setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali dan menghasilkan 45 satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi media tanam M2 memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter jumlah daun pada umur 21 Hari Setelah Tanam (HST) dan 35 HST, bobot per tanaman, dan bobot segar konsumsi. Pemberian pupuk kasgot memberikan pengaruh terbaik dengan dosis 150 g/tanaman terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman pada umur 35 HST dan 42 HST. Interaksi terbaik terdapat pada kombinasi media M1 dan pupuk kasgot 150 g/tanaman terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman pada umur 21 HST dan 28 HST serta jumlah daun pada umur 14 HST.
