Abstract
In some societies prosocial behavior is not considered valuable, for example in Uganda where violent behavior and roughness are seen as a common norm (Turnbull 1972 in Sugiono, 2013).The same point expressed in research conducted by Hyson and Taylor (2011) in Sugiono (2013), states that in most cultures, especially non-Westrn cultures, children are often expected to (1) do work that can help families, such as taking care of and taking care of her siblings; (2) sharing with younger children including the most loved belongs; (3) become a cooperative member of society. This cultural difference according to Hayson and Taylor can be reflected through behavior when children play and interact with their friends.
