Abstract
This paper aims to understand how the Gold Pawn product is implemented at Bank Syariah Indonesia and its role in increasing public interest in sharia-based financing. Gold Pawn is a solution for short-term financing that uses gold as collateral, operated based on the principles of rahn and ijarah. The method used in this study is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature reviews. The results of the study indicate that Bank Syariah Indonesia has implemented the Gold Pawn service well through service digitalization, the availability of weekend banking services, and improving service quality. These efforts have a positive impact on attracting public interest, especially for those who need fast funds without reducing the value of their assets. Some of the challenges faced include low public literacy, fluctuations in gold prices, and competition with other financial institutions. Bank Syariah Indonesia overcomes these challenges by organizing sharia financial education, strengthening service technology, and offering competitive margin policies. In general, the implementation of Gold Pawn at Bank Syariah Indonesia has proven to play a role in expanding access to sharia finance for the community.
