Abstract
The agricultural sector continues to be a primary catalyst for economic growth in Indonesia. Chili is considered to be one of the most economically valuable strategic horticultural agricultural commodities. Nevertheless, its productivity remains suboptimal. The underutilization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) is a contributing factor. Bertani untuk Negeri (BUN) is an initiative aimed at enhancing productivity through mentorship and educational endeavors for agriculturalists, thereby facilitating the implementation of SOPs in their cultivation practices. The objective of this study is to analyze the extent to which the SOP for chili cultivation is applied by participating farmers BUN in Kebonpeuteuy Village, Gekbrong District, Cianjur Regency, and to determine the factors related to the level of implementation. The approach adopted is quantitative descriptive, with census sampling of 18 farmers. The chosen location for the research was determined in accordance with the purposive method of selection. Data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation. The processing of the data was carried out using the Guttman Scale and Spearman Rank correlation analysis. The implementation of a SOP for chili cultivation by farmers in Kebonpeuteuy Village has been found to result in a significant increase of 76.95%, as evidenced by an increase in the score from 49.26 to 87.17 after the BUN program. The factors have been identified as being significantly related to the level of SOP implementation are land area with a correlation significance value of 0.002 at a 99% confidence level and capital with a significance value of 0.010 at a 95% confidence level.

| Additional Information: | Sektor pertanian terus menjadi katalisator utama pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Cabai dianggap sebagai salah satu komoditas pertanian hortikultura strategis yang paling bernilai ekonomis. Namun demikian, produktivitasnya masih belum optimal. Kurangnya penggunaan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) merupakan salah satu faktor penyebabnya. Bertani untuk Negeri (BUN) adalah sebuah inisiatif yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas melalui pendampingan dan edukasi kepada para petani, dengan memfasilitasi penerapan SOP dalam praktik budidaya mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana SOP budidaya cabai diterapkan oleh petani peserta BUN di Desa Kebonpeuteuy, Kecamatan Gekbrong, Kabupaten Cianjur, dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat penerapannya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengambilan sampel secara sensus terhadap 18 petani. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive). Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Skala Guttman dan analisis korelasi Rank Spearman. Penerapan SOP budidaya cabai oleh petani di Desa Kebonpeuteuy telah menghasilkan peningkatan yang signifikan sebesar 76,95%, yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan skor dari 49,26 menjadi 87,17 setelah adanya program BUN. Faktor – faktor yang memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap tingkat penerapan SOP yaitu luas lahan dengan nilai signifikansi korelasi sebesar 0,002 pada tingkat kepercayaan 99% dan modal dengan nilai signifikansi 0,010 pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. | |||||||||
