Abstract
This study aims to describe educational planning, the learning process, and the results of implementing the CTL approach in IPAS subjects to support critical thinking skills in fourth-grade students. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data collection is carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, using primary data sources, namely the school principal, teachers, and students, as well as secondary data sources, namely literature reviews. The results obtained in this study are that IPAS learning planning is carried out by determining learning outcomes, TP & ATP, and developing teaching modules that are appropriate to the characteristics of the material being studied. The is student-centered and involves students in actively participating, thereby creating a conducive learning environment and aligning with the 7 components of the CTL approach. Based on the research findings, fourth-grade students at SD Peradaban Cilegon can meet the indicators of critical thinking, such as providing basic explanations, developing foundational skills, drawing conclusions, providing further explanations, and planning strategies and tactics. IPAS learning using the CTL approach can support the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Peradaban Cilegon.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan pendidik, proses pembelajaran dan hasil dari implementasi pendekatan CTL pada mata pelajaran IPAS dalam mendukung critical thinking skills peserta didik kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kegiatan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, dengan menggunakan sumber data primer, yaitu kepala sekolah, pendidik, dan peserta didik, serta sumber data sekunder, yaitu kajian pustaka. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu, perencanaan pembelajaran IPAS dilakukan dengan menentukan capaian pembelajaran, TP & ATP, serta menyusun modul ajar yang sesuai dengan karakteristik materi yang dipelajari. Proses pembelajaran berpusat pada peserta didik dan melibatkan peserta didik untuk berperan secara aktif, sehingga berjalan dengan kondusif dan mengacu pada 7 komponen pendekatan CTL. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peserta didik kelas IV di SD Peradaban Cilegon dapat memenuhi indikator berpikir krtitis, yaitu memberikan penjelasan dasar, membangun keterampilan dasar, membuat kesimpulan, memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut, serta mengatur strategi dan taktik. Pembelajaran IPAS dengan pendekatan CTL dapat mendukung kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV di SD Peradaban Cilegon. | |||||||||
