Abstract
This final assignment aims to determine the management, recording, filling, and disbursement of petty cash at PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution, Serang-Banten Branch. The data for this Final Assignment were obtained from direct observation, interviews with PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution, Serang-Banten Branch and documents in the form of petty cash reports which were then analyzed carefully to obtain a real picture of what happened. The results of the observations and interviews indicate that the management and recording of petty cash at PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution uses a fluctuating fund system, which is always changing and adjusted to the company's expenses. A fluctuating fund system was selected for its flexibility in filling petty cash. Petty cash replenishment at PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution is carried out at the beginning of each month, by sending details of the estimated replenishment within a period of one month by the petty cash manager. Meanwhile, for petty cash disbursements by the administration department, it is carried out every time a transaction occurs by checking the receipts from the collectors to then be recorded in petty cash and stamped to be given to the invoice and tax administration section. At the end of every month, the collection section is given a summary of the receipt register by the cashier and invoicing to be entered into petty cash.

| Additional Information: | Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan, pencatatan, pengisian serta pengeluaran kas kecil (petty cash) di PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution Cabang Serang-Banten. Data Tugas Akhir ini diperoleh dari pengamatan secara langsung, wawancara dengan pihak PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution Cabang Serang-Banten dan dokumen berupa laporan kas kecil (petty cash) yang kemudian dianalisis secara seksama unutk mendapatkan gambaran riil yang terjadi. Hasil pengamatan dan wawancara tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan serta pencatatan kas kecil (petty cash) PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution menggunakan fluctuating fund system, yang selalu berubah dan disesuaikan dengan penegluaran perusahaan. Penggunaan fluctuating fund system dipilih karena lebih fleksibel dalam pengisian kas kecil. Pengisian kas kecil di PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution dilakukan setiap awal bulan, dengan mengirimkan rincian estimasi pengisian dalam kurun waktu satu bulan oleh pengelola kas kecil. Sedangkan untuk pengeluaran kas kecil oleh bagian tata usaha dilakukan setiap terjadi traansaksi dengan memeriksa kwitansi yang berasal dari juru tagih untuk selanjutnya dicatat ke dalam kas kecil dan dicap untuk diberikan ke bagian faktur dan administrasi pajak. Setiap akhir bulan bagian inkaso menerima ringkasan register kwitansi dari kasir dan fakturing untuk dimasukkan ke dalam kas kecil. | |||||||||
