Abstract

Humans have both physiological and psychological needs that must be fulfilled to maintain bodily homeostasis. Lack of sleep can disrupt bodily functions, leading to fatigue and decreased concentration. One of the most common sleep disorders is insomnia. Adolescents are among the age groups most at risk of experiencing insomnia due to high-intensity usage of digital devices. This study aims to analyze the relationship between usage intensity and the incidence of insomnia among adolescents at SMAN 3 Kota Serang. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with an observational analytic design and a cross-sectional method, involving 34 students from SMAN 3 Kota Serang as research subjects. Data analysis was performed using SPSS with proportion comparison tests including chi-square, Fisher’s exact, and Kruskal-Wallis tests. A p-value of less than 0.050 was interpreted as indicating a statistically significant relationship.
