Abstract
One of the factors that cause delays in thesis completion is internal factors, such as a lack of self-confidence that causes frustration due to doubts about being able to complete the thesis. In this case, social support from the surrounding has an important role to provide both emotional and practical assistance. Nowadays, social support can be found through interactions with people who have had or are having similar experiences on social media, such as interactions between followers of the @collegemfs account on platform X which is an alternative for students who may not get direct support from their surrounding. This study aims to identify the level of social support of followers of the X @collegemfs account, and the level of self-confidence of students who follow the X @collegemfs account in completing their thesis, as well as to identify the amount of influence of social support of followers of the X @collegemfs account on students' self-confidence in completing their thesis. The theory used is the SOR theory (Stimulus-Organism-Response). The method used is quantitative research method. The research population is followers of the X @collegemfs account with a sample of 270 who are undergraduate students working on their thesis, and less social support from the surrounding. The results showed the value of the regression equation Y = 44.707 + 0.708X. The value obtained in the t test, namely t_hitung (11.060) > t_tabel (1.969) which means H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted or there is an effect of social support from followers of the @collegemfs X account on students self-confidence in completing a thesis. Based on the coefficient of determination, the social support from followers of the @collegemfs X account has an effect of 31.3% on the self-confidence of students completing a thesis. While the rest of 68.7% is affected by other variables outside of this study.

| Additional Information: | Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan keterlambatan dalam penyelesaian skripsi adalah faktor internal, yaitu kurangnya rasa percaya diri yang menimbulkan frustrasi dikarenakan adanya keraguan untuk dapat menuntaskan skripsi. Dalam hal ini, dukungan sosial dari lingkungan sekitar memiliki peran yang penting untuk memberikan bantuan, baik secara emosional maupun bantuan praktis. Saat ini, dukungan sosial bisa didapatkan melalui interaksi dengan orang-orang yang pernah atau sedang mengalami pengalaman yang serupa di media sosial, seperti interaksi antar pengikut akun @collegemfs di platform X yang menjadi alternatif bagi mahasiswa yang mungkin tidak mendapatkan dukungan secara langsung dari lingkungan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat dukungan sosial pengikut akun X @collegemfs, dan tingkat kepercayaan diri mahasiswa yang mengikuti akun X @collegemfs dalam menyelesaikan skripsi, serta mengetahui besarnya pengaruh dukungan sosial pengikut akun X @collegemfs terhadap kepercayaan diri mahasiswa menyelesaikan skripsi. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah pengikut akun X @collegemfs dengan sampel sebanyak 270 yang merupakan mahasiswa S-1 yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi, dan kurang mendapatkan dukungan sosial dari lingkungan sekitarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai persamaan regresi Y = 44.707 + 0.708X. Nilai yang didapat pada uji t, yaitu t_hitung (11.060) > t_tabel (1.969) yang berarti H_0 ditolak dan H_a diterima atau terdapat pengaruh dukungan sosial pengikut akun X @collegemfs terhadap kepercayaan diri mahasiswa menyelesaikan skripsi. Berdasarkan nilai koefisien determinasi, dukungan sosial pengikut akun X @collegemfs memberikan pengaruh sebesar 31.3% terhadap kepercayaan diri mahasiswa menyelesaikan skripsi. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 68.7% dipengaruhi variabel lain diluar penelitian ini. | |||||||||
