Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of resilience and student errors in solving mathematical story problems on fraction material in grade V of Pemukiman Elementary School. The study used a mixed method. The first stage was a quantitative study involving a mathematical resilience questionnaire and a mathematical story problem test, while the second stage was a qualitative study through interviews to explore the forms of errors made by students. The results of the study showed a significant relationship between the level of resilience and student errors in solving mathematical story problems. Students with high resilience tend to make fewer mistakes, while students with low resilience make many mistakes, especially at the stages of understanding questions, transformation, and skill processes according to the Newman procedure. This study provides an important contribution for teachers in designing mathematics learning that not only emphasizes academic abilities, but also pays attention to strengthening student resilience.
