Abstract
Background : Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a condition caused by the narrowing of the coronary arteries, which disrupts blood flow to the heart. It is the leading cause of death worldwide and continues to rise, particularly in developing countries such as Indonesia. In Banten Province, the prevalence of heart disease is 1.4%. Unhealthy lifestyles among the population, including within academic communities, can increase the risk of CHD and reduce quality of life. This study aims to detect the risk of CHD early using the Jakarta Cardiovascular Score (JAKVAS) among the academic community of FKIK UNTIRTA, in order to promote awareness and prevention. Method : This study employed an analytical observational approach with a cross-sectional study design. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling, aiming to evaluate the relationship between the risk factors for CHD included in the JAKVAS as independent variables and the risk of CHD as the dependent variable among the academic community of FKIK UNTIRTA. Results : The proportion of the academic community at FKIK UNTIRTA with a low risk of CHD based on the JAKVAS assessment was 86.7%, while 4.44% were at moderate risk and 8.89% at high risk. The proportion of respondents with high blood pressure was 25.6%, those with a Body Mass Index (BMI) ≥26.00 was 23.3%, a history of smoking was 20%, a history of diabetes mellitus was 5.6%, and those aged over 49 years and male were 13.3%. The most dominant risk factors were a history of smoking (OR 14.458) and overweight-obesity (OR 6.685). Conclusion : It was found that the majority of the academic community at FKIK UNTIRTA had a low risk of CHD based on the JAKVAS assessment; however, 13.3% were classified as having moderate to high risk. There was a significant association between increased CHD risk and factors such as age, gender, blood pressure, BMI, smoking history, and diabetes mellitus. Among all these risk factors, smoking history and high blood pressure were the most influential in increasing CHD risk within the FKIK UNTIRTA academic community, according to the JAKVAS analysis.

Faktor risiko paling dominan adalah riwayat merokok (OR 14.458) dan overweight-obesitas (OR 6.685). | |||||||||
