Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Pomodoro technique in Civic Education (PPKn) learning on improving students' learning concentration. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method, using a One Group Pre-test Post-test Design conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Kota Serang. The population of this study consisted of all 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 8 Kota Serang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, selecting only class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class without a control class. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through statistical processing, including normality tests and hypothesis testing. The hypothesis was tested using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of the hypothesis test using the Wilcoxon sign test showed an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. This indicates that H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. It means there is a significant difference in the average scores between the pre-test and post-test of students' learning concentration. Therefore, the hypothesis is accepted, indicating that the application of the Pomodoro technique in Civic Education learning has an effect on improving the learning concentration of class XI IPA 1 students at SMA Negeri 8 Kota Serang.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan teknik pomodoro dalam pembelajaran PPKn terhadap peningkatan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pra-eksperimen, dengan desain One Group Pre-test Post-test Design yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Serang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Kota Serang. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan hanya kelas XI IPA 1 saja sebagai kelas eksperimen dan tidak menggunakan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pengolahan statistik, yaitu uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Teknik pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji wilxocon. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan sign test wilcoxon yang menunjukkan Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) bernilai 0,000 berartikan nilai 0,000 lebih kecil daripada 0,05 maka menjabarkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini berarti adanya perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil pre-test dan post-test konsentrasi belajar peserta didik, sehingga pengujian hipotesis ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis dinyatakan diterima atau dapat dikatakan terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan teknik pomodoro dalam pembelajaran PPKn terhadap peningkatan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 8 Kota Serang. | |||||||||
