Abstract

The public relations strategy of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University focuses on digital media-based information dissemination to realize the campus vision and mission of being Integrated, Smart, and Green (It’S Green) while building a JAWARA image (Honest, Fair, Authoritative, Trustworthy, Religious, Accountable). This study analyzes Untirta’s PR dissemination strategy using Ordonez and Serrat’s theory with a qualitative method and descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with three informants: PR Coordinator, Sub-Coordinator, and Head of ICT Unit. Results show that Untirta’s PR conducts target analysis, goal setting, method selection, material preparation, implementation, and continuous evaluation, using Instagram and the official website as primary channels. Challenges such as limited human resources, suboptimal socialization, and slow response to criticism are addressed through competency enhancement, cross-unit collaboration, and strengthened communication networks. The strategy is effective but requires ongoing development to maintain the campus’s positive image.
