Abstract
The background of this research lies in the urgency to provide teaching materials that are relevant to the local wisdom of Pandeglang Regency to support the Learning Outcomes (Capaian Pembelajaran) in Grade IV of elementary school. This study aims to develop science teaching materials in the form of poster media based on an ethnoscience approach for elementary school students. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study involved 37 students divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The instruments used in this research included questionnaires, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques involved evaluating the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the teaching materials, with effectiveness measured using the N- Gain score. The implementation of the poster-based teaching materials was carried out in the IPAS (Science and Social Sciences Integration) subject on the topic of biodiversity. The results of the study show that the poster-based teaching materials with an ethnoscience approach proved effective in improving students‘ learning outcomes. This is evidenced by comprehensive N-Gain data, with an average N-Gain score of 0.74 in the experimental class and 0.20 in the control class, indicating a high level of success in the implementation. Furthermore, the findings revealed that both students and teachers responded very positively regarding the practicality of using the poster-based teaching materials with an ethnoscience approach. These materials effectively stimulated active student engagement in the science learning process.

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah terdapatnya urgensi untuk mengadakan bahan ajar yang relevan dengan kearifan lokal Kabupaten Pandeglang untuk mendukung Capaian Pembelajaran di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar IPA berupa media poster berbasis etnosains untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research dan Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahapan (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation), melibatkan 37 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua yakni kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, wawancara, test, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitiannya menggunakan analisis data kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan yang dihitung menggunakan N-Gain skor. Implementasi bahan ajar bermedia poster dilakukan pada pembelajaran IPAS materi keanekaragaman hayati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar bermedia poster dengan pendekatan etnosains pada siswa sekolah dasar terbukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh data N- Gain yang komprehensif, dengan capaian rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,74 pada kelas eksperimen dan N-Gain sebesar 0,20 pada kelas kontrol, sehingga implementasi bahan ajar bermedia poster dengan pendekatan etnosains menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respon siswa dan guru sangat positif terhadap kepraktisan penggunaan bahan ajar bermedia poster dengan pendekatan etnosains. Bahan ajar bermedia poster dengan pendekatan etnosains berhasil menstimulasi siswa dalam keterlibatan aktif terhadap proses pembelajaran IPA. | |||||||||
