Abstract

Learning models have a role in students' numeracy literacy skills, especially project based learning models. This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of project based learning models on numeracy literacy skills compared to inquiry learning models; (2) the numeracy literacy skills of students with high mathematical dispositions are better than those with low and medium mathematical dispositions; (3) the interaction between learning models and mathematical dispositions on high school students' numeracy literacy skills. This type of research is quantitative with a 3 x 2 factorial design. The population of this study was class X of SMA Islam Bani Tamim Tangerang. Sampling was done using cluster random sampling to obtain experimental and control classes. Data collection used test instruments to determine numeracy literacy skills and non-test instruments in the form of mathematical disposition questionnaires. The results of this study concluded that: (1) the numeracy literacy skills of high school students who received project based learning models were better than students who received inquiry learning models; (2) the numeracy literacy ability of students with high mathematical disposition is better than that of students with low and medium mathematical disposition; (3) there is no interaction between the learning model and mathematical disposition on the numeracy literacy ability of high school students. The effect of the project based learning model is better at all levels of mathematical disposition on numeracy literacy ability compared to students who received the inquiry learning model.

Additional Information: Model pembelajaran memiliki peran terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa, khususnya model pembelajaran project based learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran inquiry; (2) kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa dengan disposisi matematis tinggi lebih baik dibandingkan dengan disposisi matematis rendah dan sedang; (3) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan disposisi matematis terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain factorial 3 x 2. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas X SMA Islam Bani Tamim Tangerang. Pengambilan sampel dengan cluster random sampling sehingga didapat kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi numerasi dan non tes yang berupa angket disposisi matematis. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa SMA yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran project based learning lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran inquiry; (2) kemampuan literasi numerasi dengan disposisi matematis tinggi lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa dengan disposisi matematis rendah dan sedang; (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan disposisi matematis terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi pada siswa SMA. Pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning lebih baik disemua level disposisi matematis terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi dibandingkan siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran inquiry
