Abstract

Raw Materilal Inventory Control Analysis using Economic Order Quantity Method at Eka Dimas Emping Melinjo Business. This study aims to determine whether the application of Economic Order Quantity method in Merchandise Inventory control can minimize the total cost of Raw material Inventory control. The study was conducted at Eka Dimas Emping Melinjo Business. The primary data was collected by using interview and observation from the company. Data was collected from March 2025 – May 2025, The secondary data has been arranged in the form of written documents obtained from the company, previous literature as well as from the Internet. This data obtained from employees production section, and then proceed and analyzed quantitatively by using Economic Order Quantity formula. The results showed that, the application of Economic Order Quantity method in the Merchandise Inventory control reach an optimal raw material purchasing to do the company in 2024 amounted to 396 Kilogram with frequency ordering to do is as much as 7 times, The quantity of safety stock that should be available in warehouse is of 106 Kilogram and a reorder point according to the Economic Order Quantity when 147 Kilogram of melinjo was available in warehouse inventory. The total cost of inventory to the production process issued by Eka Dimas Business according to the Economic Order Quantity is less than the total cost of supplies done by company.

Additional Information: Analisis Kontrol Inventaris Bahan Baku menggunakan Metode Kuantitas Pesanan Ekonomi di Eka Dimas Emping Melinjo Business. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan apakah penerapan metode Kuantitas Pesanan Ekonomi dalam pengendalian Inventaris Barang Dagangan dapat meminimalkan total biaya pengendalian Inventaris Bahan Baku. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Eka Dimas Emping Melinjo Business. Data utama dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan wawancara dan pengamatan dari perusahaan. Data dikumpulkan dari Maret 2025 - Mei 2025, Data sekunder telah disusun dalam bentuk dokumen tertulis yang diperoleh dari perusahaan, literatur sebelumnya serta dari Internet. Data ini diperoleh dari bagian produksi karyawan, dan kemudian dilanjutkan dan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rumus Kuantitas Pesanan Ekonomi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa, penerapan metode Kuantitas Pesanan Ekonomi dalam kontrol Inventaris Barang Dagangan mencapai pembelian bahan baku yang optimal untuk dilakukan perusahaan pada tahun 2024 sebesar 396 Kilogram dengan frekuensi pemesanan yang harus dilakukan sebanyak 7 kali. Jumlah stok keselamatan yang harus tersedia di gudang adalah 106 Kilogram dan titik pemesanan ulang sesuai dengan Kuantitas Pesanan Ekonomi ketika 147 Kilogram melinjo tersedia di inventaris gudang. Total biaya inventaris untuk proses produksi yang dikeluarkan oleh Eka Dimas Business menurut Kuantitas Pesanan Ekonomi 15 kurang dari total biaya persediaan yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan.
