Abstract
Taekwondo is a martial art that focuses on kicking techniques, agility of foot movements, and speed in blocking and hand attacks. The ap hurigi kick is one of the basic kicks in taekwondo martial arts that has strength, speed, flexibility, balance and long reach. This technique can be applied in several tactics including attack and counter attack tactics, but its effectiveness is still unknown. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ap hurigi kick with attack and counter attack tactics to generate points in the Chuncheon Korea Open International Championships 2024 junior kyorugi category. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The method used is the observation method with document analysis or content through video information of the match documented in youtube recordings. The population used in this study were all male and female junior category matches with a total of 226 matches in the junior category at the Chuncheon Korea Open International Championships 2024. The number of samples in this study was the number of matches from the initial round to the final, namely 218 matches, with a purposive sampling technique. Based on the research results, kicks using attack and counter attack tactics in the junior male and female categories in the matches Chuncheon Korea Open International Championships 2024 were ineffective, where the percentage value of male attacks and counter attacks was 16% and 28%, while female attacks and counter attacks were 11% and 27%.

| Additional Information: | Taekwondo adalah beladiri yang berfokus pada teknik tendangan, kelincahan gerakan kaki, serta kecepatan dalam melakukan tangkisan dan serangan tangan. Tendangan ap hurigi merupakan salah satu tendangan dasar pada bela diri taekwondo yang memiliki kekuatan, kecepatan, fleksibilitas, keseimbangan dan jangkauan yang jauh. Teknik ini dapat diterapkan dalam beberapa taktik diantaranya saat taktik attack maupun counter attack, tetapi keefektifannya masih belum diketahui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas tendangan ap hurigi dengan taktik attack dan counter attack untuk menghasilkan poin pada pertandingan Chuncheon Korea Open Internasional Championships 2024 kategori kyorugi junior. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dengan analisis dokumen atau isi melalui informasi video pertandingan yang didokumentasikan dalam rekaman youtube. Populasi yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah seluruh partai pertandingan putra dan putri kategori junior dengan jumlah 226 partai pada kategori junior di Chuncheon Korea Open Internasional Championships 2024. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah banyaknya partai dari babak awal sampai final yaitu 218 partai pertandingan, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, tendangan menggunakan taktik attack dan counter attack kategori junior putra dan putri di pertandingan Chuncheon Korea Open Internasional Championships 2024 tidak efektif, dimana nilai persentase attack dan counter attack putra adalah 16% dan 28%, sedangkan attack dan counter attack putri 11% dan 27%. | |||||||||
