Abstract

This research was motivated by the phenomenon of aggressive behavior tendencies among elementary school students, which are manifested through both physical and verbal actions. A preliminary studi conducted on 57 sisxth-grade students at SD Negeri Perumnas 1 Tangerang showed that 40% of the students exhibited a high tendency of aggressive behavior, 37% were moderate, and 23% were in the low category. The purpose of this studi is to develop media in the form of the Engklek game to reduce aggressive behavior tendencies. The method used in this research is Reseach and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model by Thiagarajan, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The trial subjects were collected through questionnaires and literature review. The develop product was validated by experts. The results of the expert validation showed a score of 75% from media and material experst (Feasible), 89.28% from language experts (High Feasible), and 93.75% from practitioners (High Feasible), resulting in an average score of 86.1, categorized as “High Feasible”. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Engklek game media is highly feasible for implementation.

Additional Information: Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena kecenderungan perilaku agresif yang terjadi pada siswa sekolah dasar yang ditunjukkan melalui tindakan fisik maupun verbal. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan pada 57 siswa kelas VI di SD Negeri Perumnas 1 Tangerang, diperoleh hasil bahwa 40% siswa memiliki kecenderungan perilaku agresif tinggi, 37% sedang, dan 23% rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media berbentuk permainan engklek sebagai media untuk mengurangi kecenderungan perilaku agresif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D Thiagarajan, yang meliputi tahap Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Subjek uji coba penelitian ini yaitu 10 siswa kelas VI yang memiliki tingkat kecenderungan perilaku agresif tertinggi. Teknik pengumpulan datanya, yaitu kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Produk yang dikembangkan melalui tahap uji validitas produk oleh para ahli. Adapun hasil dari validitas ahli media dan materi yaitu 75% (Layak), validitas ahli bahasa yaitu 89,28% (Sangat Layak), dan praktisi yaitu 93,75% (Sangat Layak). Sehingga nilai rata-rata dari penilaian yaitu 86,1% dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil respon siswa terhadap media permainan mendapatkan nilai sebesar 87,85% atau berada pada kategori “sangat layak”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media permainan engklek sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan.
