Abstract
Hemodialysis therapy is one of the routine therapies for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients that is time-consuming and causes feelings of obligation to undergo painful procedures, so it is common to find anxiety in hemodialysis patients. Anxiety can lead to a decrease in quality of life and medication adherence. This study was cross-sectional in nature with research subjects of hemodialysis patients at Banten Hospital who were taken by interview using consecutive sampling technique to 51 respondents. The interview was conducted using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale questionnaire. There were 54.9% of patients who experienced anxiety, with 54.9% undergoing HD therapy for <6 months and 45.1% undergoing HD therapy for ≥6 months. There was an association between the length of hemodialysis therapy and the incidence of anxiety (OR 10.38 (CI95% 2.8-37.9) and p = <0.001). There is a significant relationship between the length of hemodialysis therapy and the incidence of anxiety in CKD patients at Banten Regional Hospital.

| Additional Information: | Terapi hemodialisis merupakan salah satu terapi yang dijalani rutin bagi pasien Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) yang menyita waktu dan menyebabkan perasaan berkewajiban menjalani prosedur yang menyakitkan, sehingga umum ditemui ansietas pada pasien hemodialisis. Ansietas atau kecemasan berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup dan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien. Penelitian ini bersifat cross-sectional dengan subjek penelitian pasien hemodialisis di RSUD Banten yang diambil dengan wawancara menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling kepada sebanyak 51 responden. Wawancara dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale. Terdapat sebanyak 54,9% pasien yang mengalami ansietas, dengan 54,9% menjalani terapi HD selama <6 bulan dan 45,1% menjalani terapi HD selama ≥6 bulan. Diamati adanya hubungan antara lama terapi hemodialisis dengan kejadian ansietas (OR 10,38 (CI95% 2,8-37,9) dan p = <0,001). Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara lama terapi hemodialsis dengan kejadian ansietas pada pasien CKD di RSUD Banten. | |||||||||
