Abstract
This research aims to find out whether the application of the Look And Say Technique to autistic children can increase the duration of eye contact at RA Al – Izzah. As has been the case in field findings, students appear to still not be able to make good eye contact, resulting in difficulties in focusing on students' learning. This research uses an experimental method with a single subject (Single Subject Research) with an A-B-A research design. The subjects in this research were students at RA Al - Izzah, Serang City, namely, R.R.D. The target behavior in this research is to increase the duration of eye contact. Based on the research results, it can be seen that applying the Look and Say technique can increase the duration of students' eye contact. The data obtained for the subjects obtained from the mean value of the Baseline-1 (A1) phase level was 0. These subjects had been studied in natural conditions without any treatment or intervention. In the Intervention phase (B), the average percentage or mean level of the subjects was 2,125 because in this phase the subjects had begun to be given treatment or intervention in the form of the Look and Say technique. Meanwhile, in the Baseline-2 (A2) phase, the average percentage or mean subject level was 2 or increased from Baseline-1. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the application of the Look and Say technique has had a positive impact on increasing the duration of eye contact for autistic children at RA Al – Izzah.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Penerapan Teknik Look And Say pada anak autis ini dapat meningkatkan durasi kontak mata di RA Al – Izzah. Sebagaimana yang sudah terjadi pada temuan lapangan bahwa peserta didik terlihat masih belum mampu melakukan kontak mata dengan baik sehingga terjadinya kesulitan dalam fokus belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan subjek tunggal (Single Subject Reseacrh) desain penelitian A- B-A. Subjek yang terdapat pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik yang terdapat di RA Al – Izzah, Kota Serang yakni, R.R.D. Target Behavior dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan durasi kontak mata. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan teknik Look and Say dapat meningkatkan durasi kontak mata peserta didik. Perolehan data terhadap subjek yang telah didapatkan dari nilai mean level fase Baseline-1 (A1) adalah 0 subjek ini sudah diteliti berada dalam kondisi alamiah tanpa terjadinya perlakuan atau intervensi. Pada fase Intervensi (B) rata – rata persentase atau mean level subjek sebesar 2,125 karena pada fase ini subjek sudah mulai diberikan perlakuan atau Intervensi berupa teknik Look and Say. Sementara pada fase Baseline-2 (A2) rata – rata presentase atau mean level subjek 2 atau meningkat dari Baseline-1.
