Abstract
The development of digital technology has driven a transformation in communication and social interaction, including negative aspects such as the dissemination and transaction of pornographic content through social media. This study analyzes the enforcement of laws related to pornographic transactions on the social media platform X, focusing on both the applicable legal framework and its implementation by law enforcement authorities. The primary objective of this research is to examine how law enforcement is carried out, as well as to explore the challenges and obstacles faced by authorities in addressing cases of pornographic transactions on platform X. This study employs a normative juridical method combined with a case study approach and an analysis of relevant legal regulations. A qualitative approach is used, involving in-depth interviews with various relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that, despite the existence of clear regulations prohibiting the online distribution and transaction of pornographic materials, significant challenges remain in law enforcement, such as limitations in tracking offenders and issues related to user privacy protection. Therefore, there is a need to revise existing regulations to be more adaptive to digital crimes, enhance the capacity of law enforcement personnel, expand cybercrime units to regional areas, and strengthen international cooperation and collaboration with digital platform providers. This study recommends a multisectoral and collaborative approach to achieve more effective law enforcement against digital pornography-related crimes.

| Additional Information: | Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong transformasi komunikasi dan interaksi sosial, termasuk dalam aspek negatif seperti penyebaran dan transaksi konten pornografi melalui media sosial. enganalisis penegakan hukum terhadap transaksi pornografi yang terjadi di platform media sosial X, baik dari aspek regulasi hukum yang berlaku maupun implementasinya oleh aparat penegak hukum. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali penegakan hukum yang di laksanakan serta bagimana tantangan dan hambatan yang di hadapi oleh penegak hukum terhadap fenomena kasus transaksi pornografi di platform media sosial X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan analisis peraturan perundang-undangan yang relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan berbagai pihak terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun regulasi telah mengatur secara tegas larangan distribusi dan transaksi pornografi secara daring, tantangan dalam penegakan hukum masih signifikan, seperti keterbatasan dalam pelacakan pelaku, serta perlindungan privasi pengguna. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pembaruan regulasi agar lebih adaptif terhadap kejahatan digital, peningkatan kapasitas aparat penegak hukum, pemerataan unit siber hingga ke daerah, serta penguatan kerja sama antarnegara dan dengan penyedia platform digital. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pendekatan multisektor dan kolaboratif untuk mewujudkan penegakan hukum yang lebih efektif terhadap kejahatan pornografi digital. | |||||||||
