Abstract
This research aims to develop ethnoscience-based digital ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials to improve students' science literacy skills. This study explores how the integration of local cultural knowledge into digital teaching materials can strengthen students' understanding of science concepts while preserving cultural values. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Data collection was conducted through literature review, expert validation, and classroom implementation at the elementary school level. The developed teaching materials were validated by material experts, learning media experts, and educational practitioners, then tested on students to measure their effectiveness. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively and qualitative to evaluate the improvement of science literacy and user satisfaction. The results showed that ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials significantly improved students' science literacy. The integration of ethnoscience elements, such as local cultural practices and traditional wisdom, makes the learning process more interesting and relevant. This research offers an innovative approach in science education by combining digital technology and ethnoscience. The findings contribute to culture-based teaching and show how digital technology can be used to support science literacy and also preserve local cultural heritage. The developed teaching materials can serve as a model in integrating culture and science in other educational contexts.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar digital berbasis etnosains guna meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa. Studi ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana intergrasi pengetahuan budaya lokal ke dalam bahan ajar digital dapat memperkuat pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep sains sekaligus melestarikan nilainilai budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi dan Evaluasi). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kajian literatur, validasi ahli, dan implementasi di kelas pada tingkat sekolah dasar. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media pembelajaran, dan praktisi pendidikan, kemudian diujicobakan kepada siswa untuk mengukur efektivitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan literasi sains dan kepuasan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar digital berbasis etnosains secara signifikan meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Pengintegrasian elemen etnosains, seperti praktik budaya lokal dan kearifan tradisional, membuat proses pembelajaran lebih menarik dan relevan. Penelitian ini menawarkan pendekatan inovatif dalam pendidikan sains dengan menggabungkan teknologi digital dan etnosains. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengajaran berbasis budaya dan menunjukkan bagaimana teknologi digital dapat digunakan untuk mendukung literasi sains dan juga melestarikan warisan budaya lokal. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dapat menjadi model dalam mengintegrasikan budaya dan sains di konteks pendidikan lainnya. | |||||||||
