Abstract
Self-confidence is something that has a very important influence in life. This study aims to determine the Influence of Group Guidance Services with Role Playing Techniques in Increasing Self-Confidence of Class VII Students of MTsN 1 Serang. Guidance and counseling teachers have a very important role in handling every student's behavior with educational values, such as organizing guidance and counseling services. In guidance and counseling services, one of them is group guidance with role playing techniques. Role Playing itself means a method with role-playing techniques. In this study, the researcher used a quantitative approach to the experimental method, this study used a Pre Experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design design which was only carried out on one test group and without a control or comparison group. Based on the results of the study, it shows that ρ = 0.027 is smaller than α = 0.05, which indicates that there is a difference in self-confidence scores. So it can be concluded that the application of role playing technique group guidance can increase self-confidence in the communication skills of class VII students of MTsN 1 Serang.

| Additional Information: | Kepercayaan diri atau self confidence suatu hal yang sangat penting pengaruhnya dalam kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok Teknik Role Playing dalam Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri Siswa kelas VII MTsN 1 Serang. Guru bimbingan dan konseling memiliki peran yang sangat penting untuk menangani setiap perilaku siswa dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan, seperti halnya menyelenggarakan suatu layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Dalam pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling salah satunya berupa bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik role playing. Role Playing sendiri memiliki arti suatu metode dengan teknik bermain peran. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode eksperimen, penelitian ini menggunakan Pre Experimental design dengan bentuk desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design yang dimana hanya dilakukan pada satu kelompok uji saja dan tanpa ada kelompok control atau pembanding. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan ρ = 0,027 lebih kecil dari α = 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor kepercayaan diri. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri pada keterampilan komunikasi siswa kelas VII MTsN 1 Serang. | |||||||||
