Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of guided inquiry learning models assisted by practicum on students' science process skills on the material of elasticity and Hooke's law. This study was conducted in one of the schools in Lebak Regency. With a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design type. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, namely students of class XI Phase F1 as the experimental class and XI Phase F2 as the control class, each of which consisted of 30 students. The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed that there was an effect of the use of guided inquiry models assisted by practicum. In addition, the N-gain score in the experimental class was in the moderate category and higher than the control class which was also included in the same category. This shows that the guided inquiry model assisted by practicum can improve students' science process skills. The results of the average percentage on the observation sheet for students' science process skills showed that the experimental class was included in the very good category while the control class was in the good category.

Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan praktikum terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi elastisitas dan hukum hooke. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah yang berada di Kabupaten Lebak. Dengan desain quasi eksperiment dengan jenis nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu siswa kelas XI Fase F1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI Fase F2 sebagai kelas kontrol, yang masing�masing berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan praktikum. Selain itu juga, skor N-gain pada kelas eksperimen berada dalam kategori sedang dan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang juga termasuk dalam kategori yang sama. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan praktikum dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Hasil persentase rata-rata pada lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains siswa menunjukkan bahwa kelas eskperimen termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali sedangkan pada kelas kontrol berada dalam kategori baik. | |||||||||
