Abstract
Situ Citongtut is located in Cicadas Village, Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency, West Java with a land area of 3.2 hectares. The utilization of Situ Citongtut by local residents and various activities around the Situ has the potential to increase phytoplankton abundance so that water fertility also increases. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the abundance of phytoplankton and the level of water fertility of Situ Citongtut. The research was conducted in October - November 2023 based on weather differences. Aquatic parameters measured in situ were temperature, current, brightness, pH, and dissolved oxygen, while the parameters analyzed in the AKA Laboratory (Akademi Kimia Analisis) were Total Phosphate and chlorophylla analyzed in ProLing (Productivity and Aquatic Environment), In addition, the level of aquatic fertility was calculated using the Trophic State Index (TSI) method.Class composition in hot and rainy weather is dominated by the Bacillariophyceae class with a percentage of 96% and 72%. Phytoplankton abundance in Situ Citongtut blooming occurred at station 1 in hot weather at 21,215 ind/l. Cyclotella sp and Coscinodiscus sp are genera that dominate in hot and rainy weather. The level of water fertility is classified as hypereutrophic at all stations except at station 4 in hot weather because total phosphate cannot be detected. The result of the relationship between water quality and phytoplankton abundance, the temperature parameter during rainy weather was the highest with a value of 0.965. This led to a decrease in water quality, causing mass mortality of fish.

Additional Information: | Situ Citongtut terletak di Desa Cicadas, Kecamatan Gunung Putri, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat, dengan luas lahan 3,2 hektar. Pemanfaatan Situ Citongtut oleh masyarakat setempat dan berbagai aktivitas di sekitar Situ memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan keragaman fitoplankton sehingga kesuburan air juga meningkat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelimpahan fitoplankton dan tingkat kesuburan air di Situ Citongtut. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober - November 2023 berdasarkan perbedaan cuaca. Parameter air yang diukur di lokasi adalah suhu, arus, kecerahan, pH, dan oksigen terlarut,. Selain itu, tingkat kesuburan air dihitung menggunakan metode Indeks Status Trofik (TSI). Komposisi kelas dalam cuaca panas dan hujan didominasi oleh kelas Bacillariophyceae dengan persentase 96% dan 72%. Kelimpahan fitoplankton dalam mekar Citongtut terjadi di stasiun 1 pada cuaca panas dengan 21.215 ind/l. Cyclotella sp dan Coscinodiscus sp adalah genus yang mendominasi pada cuaca panas dan hujan. Tingkat kesuburan air diklasifikasikan sebagai hipereutrofik di semua stasiun kecuali di stasiun 4 pada cuaca panas karena fosfat total tidak terdeteksi. Hasil hubungan antara kualitas air dan kelimpahan fitoplankton, parameter suhu pada cuaca hujan memiliki nilai tertinggi sebesar 0,965. Hal ini menyebabkan penurunan kualitas air, yang mengakibatkan kematian massal ikan. | |||||||||
