Abstract

This report examines the outcomes of industrial internship activities focused on strategies to enhance the Consumer and Retail Credit Portfolio for achieving profits at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten, Maja Branch Office (KCP). The implemented strategies include market segmentation, external partnerships, strengthening customer services, process digitalization, human resource development, and credit monitoring and evaluation. Market segmentation has proven effective in reaching customers based on the specific characteristics and needs of each group, such as civil servants, private sector employees, and SMEs, thus contributing to healthy growth in the credit portfolio. Data indicates a notable increase in the number of active customers, although this has not fully matched with proportional growth in credit volume. Internal challenges, such as limitations in human resources and facilities, alongside external issues like competition among financial institutions and low financial literacy, pose obstacles in optimizing credit performance. Overall, the strategies employed by KCP Maja are considered quite effective in supporting profit achievement through sustainable management of consumer and retail credit.

Additional Information: Laporan ini membahas hasil kegiatan magang industri yang difokuskan pada strategi Peningkatan Portofolio Kredit Konsumer dan Retail dalam Pencapaian Laba pada PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Kantor Cabang Pembantu (KCP) Maja. Strategi yang diterapkan mencakup segmentasi pasar, kerja sama eksternal, penguatan layanan nasabah, digitalisasi proses, pengembangan sumber daya manusia, serta pengawasan dan evaluasi kredit. Segmentasi pasar terbukti efektif dalam menjangkau nasabah sesuai karakteristik dan kebutuhan masing-masing segmen seperti ASN, karyawan swasta, dan UMKM, sehingga turut mendorong pertumbuhan portofolio kredit secara sehat. Data menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah nasabah aktif secara signifikan, meskipun belum sepenuhnya diiringi dengan pertumbuhan volume kredit yang seimbang. Kendala internal seperti keterbatasan SDM dan fasilitas, serta tantangan eksternal seperti persaingan antar lembaga keuangan dan rendahnya literasi keuangan, menjadi hambatan dalam optimalisasi kinerja kredit. Secara keseluruhan, strategi yang dijalankan oleh KCP Maja dinilai cukup efektif dalam mendukung pencapaian laba melalui pengelolaan kredit konsumer dan retail yang berkelanjutan.
