Abstract
Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae are used for organic waste management in Tangerang Regency. This study aims to calculate the feasibility of the business, total costs, revenues, and income, determine the amount of waste absorbed through BSF maggot cultivation, and assess the efficiency of the business through the implementation of an integrated farming system within the circular economy framework in Tangerang Regency. This research was conducted in Dangdeur and Sukamulya sub-districts Tangerang Regency. The total costs incurred by both business units annually amount to IDR 53,098,133 and IDR 56,905,133. The total revenue from the business in one year is IDR 63,960,000 and IDR 70,722,500. The business feasibility analysis shows that both business units are economically viable, meeting criteria such as NPV and Net B/C value using the BI-Rate 2025 interest rate (5.75%) of IDR 12,153. 399 and IDR 17,418,311, with Net B/C Ratios of 1.67 and 1.75, respectively, where the Net B/C Ratio > 1. The IRR values were also calculated at 36% and 38%, with Payback Periods of 2.76 and 2.78 years, respectively. Based on the calculations BSF larvae farming absorbs 25.5 tons of waste per year and requires an area of 789,436 m², this indicates that integrated BSF larvae farming with catfish or chicken farming is more efficient than using commercial feed.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha dengan kriteria NPV, Net B/C Rasio, IRR, dan Payback period, menghitung total biaya, penerimaan, dan pendapatan, mengidentifikasi jumlah penyerapan sampah dengan adanya budidaya maggot BSF dan menghitung efisiensi usaha dengan penerapan integrated farming system dalam mendukung circular economy di Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Dangdeur dan Sukamulya. Total biaya yang dikeluarkan di kedua unit usaha per tahunnya mencapai Rp. 53.098.133 dan Rp. 56.905.133. Pendapatan total dari kedua unit usaha per tahunnya adalah Rp. 63.960.000 dan Rp. 70.722.500. Berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan usaha menunjukkan bahwa kedua unit usaha layak untuk dijalankan, memenuhi kriteria seperti NPV dengan menggunakan BI-Rate 2025 (5,75%) sebesar Rp. 12.153.399 dan Rp. 17.418.311, dengan Net B/C Ratio sebesar 1,67 dan 1,75, di mana Net B/C Ratio > 1. Nilai IRR sebesar 36% dan 38% dengan Payback period adalah 2,76 dan 2,78 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa budidaya maggot BSF dapat menyerap 25,5 ton limbah sampah organik per tahun dan memerlukan lahan sekitar 789,436 m² dan usaha budidaya maggot BSF yang terintegrasi dengan budidaya ikan lele atau ayam lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan hanya menggunakan pakan komersial. | |||||||||
