Abstract

Improving the quality of economics instruction at SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel Cilegon was addressed through the development of interactive learning media using Genially. The media was designed with the ADDIE development model and aimed to deliver content on payment systems and instruments in an engaging, interactive manner tailored to students’ diverse learning styles. The development process included needs analysis, content design, media creation, classroom implementation, and evaluation of effectiveness. Expert validation indicated that the product was highly feasible. Effectiveness testing using pretest and posttest scores revealed a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding of the topic, with a medium category gain score. Student responses to the media were also highly positive, indicating strong enthusiasm and learning interest. These findings suggest that the use of Genially as an interactive learning tool offers an innovative solution to enhance the quality of economics education at the senior high school level.

Additional Information: Upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran ekonomi di SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel Cilegon dilakukan dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Genially. Media ini dirancang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dan bertujuan untuk menyajikan materi sistem dan alat pembayaran secara menarik, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan beragam gaya belajar siswa. Proses pengembangan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain konten, pengembangan media, implementasi di kelas, dan evaluasi efektivitas. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan media menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan berada dalam kategori sangat layak. Uji efektivitas melalui pretest dan posttest pada siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep sistem dan alat pembayaran, dengan nilai gain yang termasuk kategori sedang. Respon siswa terhadap media juga sangat positif, menunjukkan antusiasme dan minat belajar yang tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Genially sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif dapat menjadi solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran ekonomi di jenjang SMA.
