Abstract

“Development of Google Sites Learning Media Based on Banten Culture to Improve Interest and Learning Outcomes in Science Lessons”. Thesis. Master of Elementary Education Program, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Supervisor I Dr. Ratna Sari Dewi, M.Pd. Supervisor II Prof. Dr. Suroso Mukti Leksono, M.Si. Learning social and natural sciences about cultural heritage is still less interesting for students because the lack of use of learning media and the lack of integration of local culture in teaching materials is not optimal. Therefore, this study aims to determine the process and results of the development of Google Sites learning media based on Banten culture in the subject of social and natural sciences on cultural heritage material. In addition, this study also examines the effectiveness of Google Sites media based on Banten culture in increasing student interest and learning outcomes. This study uses the R&D (research and development) method. The R&D model used in this study is the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study uses quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data are obtained from the questionnaire results, while qualitative data are obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources in this study include students, teachers, and related documents. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The instruments used in this study were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, questionnaires, and documentation sheets. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Qualitative analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Meanwhile, quantitative analysis used descriptive statistics to process the results of the questionnaire. The results of the validation of the Banten culture-based Google Sites learning material were 96 percent, which was included in the Very Good or Very Eligible category. The validation results from media experts scored 88.33 percent, which was included in the Very Good or Very Eligible category. The validation of the questions scored 98 percent, which was included in the Very Good or Very Eligible category. The results of the responses of small group students were 94 percent, and the results of the responses of large group students were 97 percent, which was included in the very good category. The results of students' learning interest in the science lesson on cultural heritage material using Banten culturebased Google Sites learning media were 90 percent, with a very good category. The results of the effectiveness test of the Banten culture-based Google Sites learning media through pretest and posttest questions, with an N-Gain value of 76 percent in the "effective" category.

Pembelajaran IPAS mengenai warisan budaya masih kurang menarik bagi peserta didik karena penggunaan media pembelajaran yang belum optimal dan kurangnya integrasi budaya lokal dalam materi ajar. Oleh karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran Google Sites berbasis budaya Banten pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi warisan budaya. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengkaji efektivitas media google sites berbasis budaya Banten dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan R&D (Research and Development). Model RnD yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil angket, sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi siswa, guru, serta dokumen terkait. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mencakup observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, kuesioner angket, dan lembar dokumentasi.Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sementara itu, analisis kuantitatif menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk mengolah hasil angket. Hasil validasi materi pembelajaran google sites berbasis budaya Banten sebesar 96% yang termasuk pada kategori sangat Baik/Sangat Layak. Hasil validasi dari ahli media mendapat nilai 88, 33% yang termasuk pada kategori sangat Baik/Sangat Layak. Validasi soal mendapat nilai 98% yang termasuk pada kategori sangat Baik/Sangat Layak. Hasil respon peserta didik kelompok kecil dengan persentase nilai 94% dan hasil respon peserta didik kelompok besar yaitu 97% yang masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil minat belajar peserta didik pada Pelajaran IPAS materi warisan budaya dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran google sites berbasis budaya Banten sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji efektivitas media pembelajaran google sites berbasis budaya Banten melalui soal pretest dan posttest dengan nilai N-Gain 76% dengan kategori “efektif”.
